Church to hold diet, lifestyle class
A new session of Prism Nutrition & Lifestyle starts at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Peace Lutheran Church, 828 W. Main St., near downtown Grass Valley. Materials are available by donation. The class is free but those interested need to call 530-575-6132 to reserve a space.
Prism Nutrition & Lifestyle will teach you to have a new relationship with food and overcome patterns of overeating. The diet plan calls for eating 1,200 to 1,400 calories per day, emphasizing fresh, whole foods. Participants will cut out refined sugar and grains. They will weigh their food to count calories and identify correct food portions. The program is organized in four phases of six sessions each. For more about Prism, visit PeaceLutheranGV.org.
